When you think about content marketing you probably think of blog. Blog is one of the content marketing and it is the most effective way of reaching your audience. But there are several types of content marketing. What type of content you use really depends on the purpose and your business. I will explain 4 types of content marketing.

1. Blog

Blog is one of the best ways of increasing traffic on your web site and attracting your audiences to your products because blogging provides your audiences with information about your products or services in detail, which help increase traffic and make your products more attractive.

 For example, you are selling honeys and writing blog about why honey is good for your health, how it is different from other honey or how to use honey for cooking. And blog also improve SEO.

What is good about blog is that it is low-cost and easy to start. If you don’t want spend much money blogging is the best one for your content marketing.

It is true that many people are watching video from other people or company. Videos are more engaging and popular that any other type of content. According to Google 65% of people watch Youtube to learn something new or solve problems they have such as how to use power point, how to start blog or how to increase sales.

And according to the research by Hubspot, 78% of people watch online video every week. So creating a video is a good way of delivering information to your audiences.

For example, Native Union introduces their product ‘cable’ and share a story of this product. This video tells audience how useful cable is for their life, which drives them to buy this product.

3. Review

Review is a content generated by your customers. It is one of the most important tings in content marketing. It tells your audience why your company is famous, what is good or bad about your products or how many people are using your products, which build a sense of trust. Look at an example below


This review is telling people about the food and services, which help people know about this restaurant.

And the review also make people take an action because humans tend to follow other’s opinion and like what other’s doing. So when people look at the review they are more likely to buy products or services.


Infographics is a collection of data, information and knowledge which are represented visually. It is commonly used when we want to give information to customers quickly and clearly. Using infographics makes it easier for audiences to understand overview of a topic. Look at an example below.
